She assisted Albert Einstein as an early collaborator to his work. Beyond her intellect, Marić was defined by her immense determination and resilience.

She pursued her scientific ambitions with a quiet fortitude, navigating a male-dominated field that frequently excluded women and overcoming personal challenges, including a congenital hip condition. Her ability to engage with the most complex physical problems of her day, coupled with her perseverance in the face of societal prejudice, highlights someone who was not only brilliant but also profoundly courageous.
